EA Jumps ESPN Ship - A "Fox" is Headed to Fox
« on: July 01, 2012, 08:51:52 AM »
ESPN spokesman Mike Soltys Friday said Erin Andrews, whose ESPN contract expires Saturday, is leaving ESPN.

Andrews, says Fox, is leaving ESPN for Fox Sports' college football coverage.

Fox declined immediate comment Friday night. The network is making a major push into college football coverage. The Fox broadcast network this year begins its first regular-season college football coverage.

ESPN, in a statement, said Andrews "did great work for us and we made an aggressive offer to keep her."
"Gentlemen, we are going to relentlessly chase perfection, knowing full well we will not catch it, because nothing is perfect. But we are going to relentlessly chase it, because in the process we will catch excellence. I am not remotely interested in just being good."
