a Dane traveling to Houston
« on: March 14, 2019, 08:07:08 AM »
Hi

Is there any activities in the Houston area that I can attend during the week of April 8th (will be leaving April 15th)?

I will travel to Houston,Tx and have the possibility for some spare time.
As a Football official from Denmark I would love to have a little “Texas football experience”.

Realizing that spring is football offseason, I know that chances that of watching a scrimmage or a spring game is low, but I was hoping that I can attend a study session or other activity.

Can you guys help me?

The Texas A & M spring game is April 13th in College Station.

Even better, The University of Texas (ranked pre-season #7 in the country by ESPN) spring game will be played the same day. It's scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at DKR-Texas Memorial stadium in Austin.

I can't believe that I missed this...  I will attend one or both games if I can.

If you have other suggestions I will be glad to receive them.

A&M is about 90 minute drive from Houston.  And also, much better all around that dealing with Austin, its traffic, and its subpar university.
