NCAA Discussion / Enforcement: Foul by each team with ILT
« Last post by ljudge on February 16, 2025, 02:53:03 PM »
I saw a well-written online test question today involving fouls by both teams, ILT, and a score.  They say crazy things can happen on kick plays and might be an interesting conversation on the field.

4/10 @ B-40. A3’s long FG attempt is short. A40 touches the grounded kick at the B-6, and then B99 intentionally bats the ball forward at the B-2. A97 picks up the ball at the B-14 and carries it across the goal line. During A97’s run, A80 is flagged for holding at the B-12.

National Football League / NFL officials fired

Just got an unconfirmed message that several NFL officials were fired in a bribery investigation. According to this message one of the officials worked the Super Bowl.  Has anyone else heard anything about this or is this just a terrible rumor.

Just in case ya' didn't wonder, I'll tell ya' anyway....

Eureka College DOES have a football team...abid, not a very good one. :'(

Last season consisted of four games ;

Lost to Benedictine   42-0
Lost to Rockford       59-6
Lost to Aurura          56-0
Lost to St. Norbert    61-0

Jayden Crowder scored the lone  ^TD

I can't forsee any Super Bowl QB Eureka's football program in the next few years.  pi1eOn tR:oLl :puke:

NCAA Discussion / Re: UNS at Goal Line
« Last post by Kalle on February 13, 2025, 09:06:32 AM »
I am confused about this and have been retired for many years so I am just asking for clarification. For many years we were told that the ball becomes dead when whistle sounds or when ball crosses the goal line for a TD.  This seems to mean that any act after the TD would be a dead ball foul. Is this a correct ruling or am I  wrong.

That is correct. What eg. I'm saying is that if you are unsure as to if the ball was still live, make it live.
