TRUE.....The roughing the passer rule (9-4-4) includes those happenings from 9-4-3. Consider the following:

(1) "Springboard", the state's high hurdle champ, leaps over the QB blocking his vision as he passes (9-4-3d)  ^flag

(2) Tugboat pulls off his helmet and throws it at QB as he passes and trips him up (9-4-3f)  ^flag

(3) Bubba jumps on Tugboat's shoulders and blocks the pass (9-4-3e)  ^flag

NOTE: Yhere may be others but 'tis time to walk ma' hunting dawg.  tR:oLl

If there is some form of illegal egregious act that puts the passer at risk I would say yes, TRUE.  But 99% of the time I would say no FALSE.
It's easy to get the players, getting 'em to play together, that's the hard part. - Casey Stengel

Ralph you are a true "thoughtsmith"! I would love to sit in on some of of your rules presentations. If I come up would I still need chains on my tires?

Chains (tires)in Maine are outlawed between May and October. This year's presentation will be short and sweet :

(1) Be true to your school colors (jerseys), not creative.

(2) All players, not just Monica, need knee pads.
