It will be up to NRG stadium. Only coaches get in with their card and they will not go on record to get us in.

You will NOT be able to use your TASO ID to get in free at NRG.

When the games where in Dallas the UIL website and AT&T stadium had the same approach.  That being we would not be able to use our TASO ID.  When going through the gate at AT&T stadium I was never rejected along with my family.  I will be trying the same tactic but prepared to pay if necessary.

I certainly hope that NRG would do that, but I am not counting on it happening.  Let us all know if it works.

Yeah, um, I don't think anyone needs to worry much about it in these games.  I'm sure that's why you're winking there.

You don't have to.  When you fill out the forms Thursday just put my name and address on it.

Does the UIL allow for a gate since they have gone to the single site, or do they have a fixed amount that each crew gets?

Fee is determined by the gate receipts of all games played that day and averaged out.  The schools are paid this way as well.

220,000 in 2013.  260,000 in 2014.  The 2014 number included the 2 6man games.  230-240k seems fair estimate for the 3 days

I think it will be far less than what it was at Cowboys.

It really should not be about attendance or money.  These games need to rotate on a yearly basis to the three domed stadiums in the state.

Attendance should be part of it.  The $ from the tournament does help fund the UIL and the schools.  If the other venues can stay within 5% to 10% of each other -- I am all for rotation.  But not a 25% attendance reduction.  That defeats the purpose of a single site -- to generate interest and $

There's interest because of the games itself.  What other interest could there be to have it in just JerryWorld other than it being cheaper as far as expenses out than revenue in.  If there were more DFW teams in them there would have been a larger attendance and if it was in JerryWorld this year would DFW even showed up as much with no teams in the fight?

DFW had 5 or 6 teams in the games -- just none in 6A.  One team in each of the 5A and 4A games.  So, DFW had as many teams as it usually does.  Houston area seemed to have more teamsthan it usually does -- and attendance was not good.  Just sayin' . , ,

All good comments.  I like the rotating concept as mentioned earlier. Any other way to try and get the right location to maximize attendance is never going to be optimal since it really depends on teams relative to the location making etc. and the decision on where to play is made well before that is decided.
