I usually do but I just flat ran out of time last week. I still need some info from last week to be able to even finish and begin this week.

Could anyone give me a summary/opinion of why the Houston Chapter gets so many assignments? Has it always been this way? Is it due to the size of the chapter?

I hope any responses are positive. It is not my intent to start a jealous ridden thread. I truly just want to know.

The Houston Chapter for the most part covers 2 regions in every class. So, it is their schools playing each other thru the 4th round.
Then they pick up their share of neutral chapter requests.
And, obviously, they must do a good job year in and year out.

This is the 16 year I've done this and yes, Houston has always had the highest percentage of the overall games in the playoffs. Geography, being a huge chapter, and having a good reputation have all played a part in this.

More than double the games of the next closest chapter, 130 next is 61. Over 20% of all playoff games, take out 1A and 2A which no one wants to do anyway and that number grows.
