« Last post by zebrastripes on July 09, 2026, 10:08:00 AM »Highly doubt Riveron is in contention for the NCAA job. Getting that job would require being liked by conference commissioners, and by all accounts AR is not highly regarded as a person.
My theory is that he was going into the last year of his contract and was told he was not going to be renewed, so decided to step down “on his own terms.”
Most of the best ACC officials have departed since Al got the job – Mullins, Patterson, Heaser, Flanagan, Savoie, as well as plenty of non-Rs. No one is going to pretend like that’s a coincidence.
