This occurred in a sub-varsity game up here several years ago. 4th & 10 @ 50, when : (1) K1's kick is blocked and picked up by R1 @ K's 45; (2) R1 runs to K's 40 where he is tackled & fumbles; (3) K1 picks up the loose ball and kicks it again from K's 35; (4) Ball goes OOB @ 50. YOU MAKE THE CALL........ :)

We have one legal kick and one illegal kick.  The second kick is illegal since it occurred after a change of possession.  So we've got a foul for illegal kicking at the 35.  For purposes of spots, illegal kicks are treated as fumbles, so it's as if a fumble went out of bounds at the 50.  Under all-but-one, I'd enforce the illegal kicking penalty (15 yards) from the 35.  But, since K was in possession of the ball after a legal kick, I'd still give them the ball.

1st and 10 for Team K at the 20?

Great job, Mardunn, you nailed it! tiphat: It the accual game the officials reconized the foul for illegal kick  ^flag but allowed R to decline the penalty and take the ball at the 50 :(. Neither coach questioned it so they ,too, made a mistake - the mistake of believing the zebras knew what they were talking about ??? ???!
