Just starting to plan our our time for the Grey Cup festivities.

It's happening guys...I'll try and get more details for you shortly. It is Friday night at City Hall only blocks away from the Spirit of Edmonton room, probably starting about 7 or so....similar format to the great function the guys in Cow-town threw last year. Lots of food and drinks (Gibson's is "supporting" the party very nicely this year if you get my drift..) and some special presentations....hope all visiting officials from across the nation drop by and join us!

The only thing that didnt go well was the weather- we had an ice storm that night!

I remember that storm quite well. Left e-town at 1130am, stopped at TH in Red Deer for a coffee and a whizz at 130. Off again by 2, and by 230 we were stopped on HWY 2 by Carstairs with thousands of other folks for five hours...finally got to the function by 830!

Meet the Grey Cup Game and Support Crew. Special visit by the Grey Cup.

I started in Edmonton at about 12pm, didn't make it into Calgary until 9pm, so went right to the Spirit of Edmonton to find out the fire marshall had already made his presence known and ended up in Tiger-Town hahahaha.

This year I'll be there.
