IR/7 Man Crew

This year all the crews have the luxury of IR, which is a good thing. There was a play where IR correctly reversed a ruling in the Malakoff/Grandview game from the runner being OOB short of the ball crossing the GL plane to a TD. However, had the Coaches agreed on a 7 Man Crew, this play most likely would've been ruled correctly on the field by the SJ who, if practicing proper mechanics, would've been on the GL. It's beyond me why every non 6 man championship game is not officiated by a 7 Man Crew.

The crew is struggling in multiple areas. Referee just put the ball in ready for play after the punt while the BJ and S where in the middle of the field talking and getting the prior ball out. Umpire and S both have very noticeable limps as well.

Just tuned in a short while ago and saw the 1st half highlights. He got beat majorly on Whittington's run. He definitely can't run.

Just make sure the F and S can move.  It looks pretty bad when the H and L are running up the heels of F and S.  See Cuero game.

Sorry guys but this is unacceptable. Ball snapped on the 42 going in. Running play and F is at the 15 when runner crosses the goal line.

This may be their first game to work 7.  The F just standing there watching as the runner goes by.  Not even moving toward the goalline.

It’s the wrong stage if it’s their 1st 7-man game. Highly doubt it for a Houston crew. Good thing is their extremely poor mechanics and lack of communication had not bearing on the play of the two teams. I can only assume this is a chapter retirement assignment.

He didn't even work it like a deep flank, he worked it like a short flank... stood his ground and then started to follow the play after the runner went by... just like a short flank would have.

Negative. This is a 2018 7 man crew.
