Is there an untime down on a off or def foul to end the quarter

In most cases for live ball fouls a period must be extended by an untimed down if during the last timed down of the period there was a foul by either team and the penalty is accepted.

The applicable rule is 3-3-3 and the exceptions (penalties where there would be no untimed down) are listed in 3-3-4.
