Title: Field Goal attempt in OT
Post by: Stinterp on July 12, 2017, 04:01:10 PM
4th and goal from the B-20 in OT.  Attempted FG  does not cross goal line. B bats the grounded kicked ball oob from the B-5 yard line while it is still rolling. What next?

PSK is not applicable in the NFHS Overtime Procedure. The foul happened during a Loose Ball Play = Previous Spot Enforcement (1/2 distance from the B20) = 4th & Goal from the B10

Regarding FG/OT stuff, we need to keep in mind that if a partially blocked or botched FG is touched beyond the NZ by R and recovered by K, they get a new series.
