Has the rule changed on the ball being dead after a blocked PAT in NF rules? I watched Shiloh Christian versus Watson Chapel in Arkansas and we use Federation rules, and an SC player scooped a fumble or intercepted a pitch on the PAT and ran the entire field, and the WC player tackled the SC player seemingly on the goalline. The official was trailing the play, and called him down on the one, and in my opinion was right, but I thought he would have saved himself the effort and possible controversy had he known the rule; then I realized the rule might have changed.
The PAT ends immediately after a kick is blocked still, also?

As soon as it is obvious the kick has failed.
With one of my JV kickers, that could be when he walks on the field.

Unless Arkansas has authorized an exception, Fed rules still indicate the ball is dead if the kick appears to fail to score or if B gains possession.

From the '09 book (and I don't think it changed this year)
4-2-2-i : the ball becomes dead...during a try if B secures possession or as soon as it is apparent that a kick has failed to score.
