Michigan has long adopted a policy outside the (recently modified) NFHS rule to retain the requirement to present a "Doctor's letter" to officials prior to each game in which a player with a (properly-padded) hard cast wishes to participate. The note can be from an MD, DO, PA, or Nurse Practitioner.
Since this (Dr's note) is no longer required under NFHS rules, I'm interested to know how many states still require one.
Thanks
