Safety for one point

Can anyone give an example of where a safety can score one point in National Federation?

On a try.

If B somehow forces the ball into their own EZ & either recovers or it goes out of the EZ, A scores one point.

  With A going for a two point try:
   (1) A1 fumbles at B2;
   (2) ball bounces back toward B5;
   (3) B1 attempts to recover the loose ball, but muffs it toward B's end zone;
   (4) ball hits pylon or recovered by B it its end zone;
   (5) z^ z^ z^ z^ z^ confer and agree that B added a new force by his muff;
   (6)  yEs: WH signals #6;
   (7) A scores one point aWaRd;
   (8) z^ z^ z^ z^ z^ crew receives accolades at chapter banquet;

You forgot to add 'and the opportunity to hone your writing skills on a fresh ejection report on B's HC' :)

I think it's more likely that the USC would be on A's HC, since he only gets one point, and "everybody knows that a safety is two points."

You are also on the right track but that would be worth 2 points.

The try ended up with a play where the football that was forced by A across A's own goalline and downed by A there.

Any safety on a try in NCAA rules is a 1 point play for the team not in possession when the play is dead.

Congrats, AL, you win the Kewpie doll tR:oLl!

Where this is only a fable, consider the fictitious following :

 (1) Maine scores a TD and Hans (from Svalbard- an island in the Arctic Circle) enters to kick
      the PAT;
 (2) the kick is blocked and Granite (the UNH noseguard) scoops it up and rumbles downfield;
 (3) Hans stays in pursuit and catches up with Granite @ A's 10, lowers his helmet and knocks
      the ball loose;
 (4) Hans's soccer instincts return and he kicks the loose ball thru his OWN goal post;
 (5) there was more ^flag ^flag ^flag ^flag ^flag ^flag ^flag than a 4th of July parade;
 (6) the  z^ z^ z^ z^ z^ z^ z^ all agreed that Hans had forced the ball thru his own
      end zone;
 (7) Maine 6, UNH 1.....

A FOOTBALL FABLE WITH A VERY HAPPY ENDING...MAINE HASN'T BEATEN UNH IN FOOTBALL IN ABOUT 10 YEARS
