Any changes to the timing rules?
« on: May 23, 2020, 11:44:19 AM »
I am going to be reviewing timing rules in the NCAA football rule book, but I have to ask one very important questions before doing so.

There are no changes to the timing rules that I need to be aware of?

We haven't had training for clock operators yet, but as with any other official obviously, just like to be prepared.

  • The rules are there if you need them.

Have your checked the UIL Exceptions?  We don't have the 2020 version, yet, but I don't think we'll have any changes from 2019.  If you don't have those, just do an internet search for "2019 UIL Exceptions."  Should take you right to them.

No not yet, but I will now that you mentioned it.
If I recall correctly, I think they are uploaded to Houston Chapter's Zebraweb. If I can't find it there I will search for it.
