Illegal formation on free kicks

Did anyone notice that Highland Park had 6 players without a foot on the line during their game winning onside kick??

Midway had 7 players on one side of the kicker on their successful onside kick...

Are these simply missed?  Not big enough?

HP is much worse as a big deal is always made about your hand on the line not counting.

Midway was close but it does appear that the one snuck just to the other side before the kick. At least the gave them spot of the recovery and not another 5 yards for the "return."

I think you have to get the first one although oddly they are not gaining an advantage on an onside kick. They are just careless in complying with a fairly simple rule. You'd like to catch them in advance, but they did this just before the kick so it's on them.

The second one would be too technical IMO. He's almost right behind the kicker when it's kicked. The primary intent of this rule is to prevent a bunch of players at the POA of an onside kick. This guy is nowhere near that so I'm less inclined to be technical on this particular formation.
