Title: Curfew!
Post by: goodgrr on July 22, 2014, 06:48:09 AM
During a recent game at Oxford there was a long delay for injury at the start of the 4th Q.

Towards the end of the delay one of the Lincolnshire players came up and shook my hand and said he needed to leave now.

He lifted up his leg to show me his ankle monitor; he had to be back home before his curfew came into effect!

We have a school in our section that for lack of a better term is a reform school. They have a lot of adults on the sideline that are big and scary. I don't think they call them guards but that's what they look like. They are actually on of the better behaved teams. Not sure what type of punishment they get for violating the rules. Not sure they can give kids solitary.

Was the ankle monitor covered by closed-cell, slow recovery foam padding no less than 1/2" thick??? :) :)
