Defender comes in from 3 o clock. Even though the actual contact was on the front, the approach angle makes this dangerous. Correct call.

Looks 10-2 to me. Defender clearly saw the blocker.

Check the CFO video from earlier this year about IBW. They make it clear the rule should include the blockers approach direction.

Check the CFO video from earlier this year about IBW. They make it clear the rule should include the blockers approach direction.

I believe that this is real clear.  Both the blocker's approach and the actual contact must be within the 10-2 window.  Here the approach is clearly from the side.  This is an IBW.

Totally agree with the views that this is an illegal low block.  Good call by the U.
