I saw some articles not very long ago discussing NFLRA ages. - but I canot locate it now.
Specifically, I'm trying to locate:
1. number of NFLRA that are 60 or older.
If I remember the article it was pointing to X% of NFLRA were age 60 (I think) or older and they wil probably step down in a few years - and for this reason was why NFLRA was holding back on adding an 8th man.
2. average age of NFLRA new hires.
The same article was pointing that X% were maybe stepping down in the next 5 years that the average age they're hiring was Y - and with so many potentially leaving and so many that were new would be another reason why they were holding off on an 8th man for a while.
Anyone familiar with this article and know these figures? THANKS
