Color-coded schedules....anyone ??

Maine has 16 c0unties
Maine's CDC color-codes counties for educational purposes...
  GREEN = school and sports as usual; 
  YELLOW= 50%+ remote with no sports; 
  RED += 100% remote with no sports or practices .
Maine's CDC moved 4 counties from green to yellow. They will be reviewed to 2 weeks = 2 weeks of havoc in schedules if a team in a green county was scheduled to play a team from a yellow county.

Does your state have anything like this  ??

Which state has the most counties, Maine or Louisiana

(1)  We are colorless here.

(2)  Louisiana has zero counties — their political subdivisions are called “parishes.”  I don’t know about Maine.

Congrats, 'Bama, on your knowledge of Louisiana ! Glad to hear that your baseball season is not effected by which schools can and which schools can't. During our 7 on 7 football and basketball seasons games were limited to opponents from either  the same county or bordering county. Lead to some mismatches.

One of my daughters lived in Lafayette for a year.  I was surprised to find that English is the second language in several of the small towns in that area.

French is the first language of many in northern Maine, but it is Acadian French not the same as that spoken in Louisiana or Paris. Hot foods wake me up and keep me warm. their food is popular with me ,too.

About that, I would be surprised if there aren't Cajuns in Louisiana who still speak Acadian French.

There aren’t many, if any, who speak French with an Acadian dialect in Louisiana. Much like how Spain Spanish is very different than Mexican Spanish, the language has evolved and been adapted over the centuries to a more local dialect.
