Prayers for Elvis!

Please take a few minutes to lift up our brother ElvisLives in prayer today.  Unfortunately, he (very unexpectedly) lost his wife this past Sunday.  I'm sure he would appreciate your prayers.

My deep condolences. Cherish the memories of your beloved wife but remember  that you will rejoin her someday. From your posts you appear to be a man of strong Faith; your strong Faith will hopefully help to carry you thru these sad days.

Wow. I am humbled and touched. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, and kind words.
I took a little time away from here, to grieve, and take care of arrangements, etc. I miss her, enormously. But she would want me to carry on with life, including - especially - officiating. I got out last night and worked a high school spring 'game' (intra-squad scrimmage).
I hope you are all well. Please tell your wives how beautiful they are and how much you love them. I am proud to say that I did that, frequently. It gives me comfort that I know she knew that I loved her, and I know she loved me.

I hope to take multiple trips to Hawaii before my time is done here. But, for certain, I will have one more. Per both of our wishes, she was cremated, as I will be, when the time comes. My son has strict orders to take us both to Honolulu and place our ashes in Waikiki Bay. As Chris Janson sings, "Go to Hawaii on Me."

And Brad says, "Hi."
