You'd better pack warm clothes.

Why on Earth would anyone go to Memphis, TX for three days on purpose?   ;D

Don't even know where Memphis, Texas is.  But BBQ in Memphis, TN is pretty good.  Not quite as good as dry rub south Texas ribs using Mesquite, but passable.

I laugh at your rain. :)
We get sleet, freezing rain, possibly snow, and 20 degree high at kick off.

Another correction for you doc :)

I believe Fort Worth has 2A-D2 Rosebud-Lott v Waskom instead of Tyler, either that, or someone is making a trip for nothing :)

Ok boys, I'm headed to the Bahamas for a week.  No joke.  Plane leaves today from Austin at 6.  I'll be thinking of all you guys working in the cold and rain!  Actually, I won't.  I'll send pictures of my banana hammock if you really think I wear one!

Update to next week's playoff sheet could be really like if TXMike doesn't figure it out!

Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving!

I have finally recovered from the trauma of Doc's "bannana hammock" statement to update the spreadsheet.

I had the opportunity to call the game in Riesel last night.  My WH, who been calling for 30 years and has had several PO games in the panhandle, said it was the most uncomfortable he's ever been in a game - not the coldest, or wettest, but the worst combination.  35 degrees w/ wind chill of 23 and horizontal rain.

It was also one of the more memorable games I've been involved in from a weather perspective.  This one will be heard in stories long after I'm done calling.  The conditions may worsen in the telling over the years, but it will always be a 'skin on the wall.'  pHiNzuP
