I had the opportunity to call the game in Riesel last night. My WH, who been calling for 30 years and has had several PO games in the panhandle, said it was the most uncomfortable he's ever been in a game - not the coldest, or wettest, but the worst combination. 35 degrees w/ wind chill of 23 and horizontal rain.
It was also one of the more memorable games I've been involved in from a weather perspective. This one will be heard in stories long after I'm done calling. The conditions may worsen in the telling over the years, but it will always be a 'skin on the wall.'
