Book: Penalty Enforcements Made Easy
« on: July 17, 2014, 01:37:07 PM »
Published by Referee Magazine and NASO.

Anyone have any thoughts on this.  I finished it in 2 days (don't worry I'll read it numerous times throughout the season), and was wondering if anyone had any comments about it.

Difficult for a younger official to understand IMO; however, a great place to start skimming FED enforcement summaries and principles

If it's published by Referee Ragazine, it's probably rife with errors!

I'm a big fan of Redding's Study Guide as a supplement to the rule book and case book.  His chapter on penalty enforcement is about 25 pages, and it's pretty easy to understand.  He has about 50 case type examples included in the chapter, and another 40-50 at the end of the chapter.

I agree with AB regarding Referee Magazine.

I just bought the Kindle version of this book and I look forward to reading it.  Redding's guide is my go to for things like this, but I am always looking for a new perspective.

Agree on both counts.
