At our weekly meetings, we always close with a review of the previous week's games. One referee reported this:
        Late in the game, onside kick situation, when...........

     (1) In an attempt to kick a "high bouncer" ,the kicker only got enough of the ball to cause
          it go to K's 41 while spinning like a top ;

     (2) K players gathered around the ball and watched;

     (3) Well coached R players stayed at the 50 and watched; ;

     (4) the disgruntled kicker decided to try again and kicked the spinning ball once more;

     (5) ball then went OOB @ R's 30.

 You make the call........................................

Multiple fouls, KO OOB R could take ball at 35, or where it went out, or 5 yards and re kick.

Also have illegal kicking, 15 yards and rekick.

Or the best option for R, decline all penalties and take ball at spot of first touching.

Very good, BigJohn & PABJNR, . There were more flags than a 4th of July parade and more beanbags than a baked bean supper , but the whitehat kept it simple. He merely just went to K's 41 and said to B : "You guys will want it here ."
