I picked this vid up on NCAA discussion. There is a lot to discuss here.  https://1drv.ms/v/c/19a8ce2d68f4196d/EW0Z9GgtzqgggBkkBwAAAAABRMDXQX5nzaRuiVwtfjqtwg?e=Jl1f2W

Dang, hope I never see this one. I’ll give decoding it a go.

Two fouls on the play.
Illegal shift on A. All 11 players not stationary for one second.
UNS Illegal participation on the B coach. (9-6-4a, 9-8-1i)

Ball is dead when the coach touches it (4-2-2-e3).

This is a not a double foul because the coach touching the ball is a Non Player live ball foul. Both penalties enforced from the previous spot, the number of the down remains the same.

Could a case be made that the QB was down (forward progress) when the backwards pass/ fumble occurred?  If so, would you still have UNS on coach or could it be DOG?

I like Fatso's take. Once the player's progress was wrapped up, this play should be shut down for safety purposes and not allow the defense to take a free shot at the QB. Nothing good is going to happen afterwards (and did not).

That coach thought he was going to be clever by keeping the ball in bounds too. So, if we don't shut this play down, then we are going to possibly have two fouls to enforce. The down will be repeated with basically 5 yards back from the previous spot and then we go forward 15 for the UNS, correct?
