Title: Untimed Down or Not
Post by: mjstreet on August 23, 2013, 10:51:25 AM
Hi Guys,
New to posting on here but read most of the topics.  I have learned a lot on here reading the posts from around the country.  My question is do we have an untimed down or not in this scenario ?

Time expires at the end of the game- B commits a facemask, during which the ball is fumbled, A picks up the fumble beyond the line of scrimmage and throws an illegal forward pass (completed to eligible A player).  Do we have an untimed down in this situation or is the game over because of the loss of down attached to the illegal forward pass?

You can answer your own question: is this a double foul? If so, what happens to LOD? If no LOD, will there be an untimed down?
