Targeting. Contact to the head of a defenseless player.
-
I got nothing, He is tackling. He wrapped up. He didn't drive thru the player like one would if they were headhunting. I think its just a case of incidental helmet contact while making a tackle.
-
The problem I have here is that the initial contact is with the helmet to the helmet. If the initial contact would be on the body, I would have nothing.
-
I do not have anything. Agree the helmets hit but taht si incidental to the attempt to tackle and wrap up by the B player.
I do not have him, crouching, launching, leading, ot trying to intiatite contact with his helmet.
-
either targeting or nothing
no way I call UNR on this one unless I'm calling it targeting
and I guess I'd call targeting because of the lack of effort to lower the contact zone and the tackler lowers his head a bit
Mike, thanks for letting us see the band dancing before the slowmotion replay :)

It was late and I was tired of editing stuff. Between this game and the Baylor game I had my bad full snagging clips. :-).
-
At field level in real time, it probably looked bad.
On film, I got nothin'

agree 100%. I've got no intent by the defender to target high. the ball carrier turned and boom--they were face to face. nothing.
-
Nada...

No intent, kind of at a size disadvantage, no foul. Wave it off, guys.
