How does that call get missed? Did an expert see the bill of his cap?
-
I am looking at it on a huge HD screen and I see the palm of the defender's helmet on the crown of the QB's helmet. It is not in any helmet opening at all. Great no call
-
My boys told me about it but I have not seen the play, can you clip it please?

Ouch....Take another look MIke. He does get the side of the helmet opening. It was close, but he does turn it from the side. Hey, we all miss one.
Crew did work a good game overall. Most Bowl games have been worked very well. Very impressed with Crew chemistry and game management. Spoke with a DFW college umpire last night. He remarked about great game management by most crews this year when the players got chippy.

I did see some taunting by the Texas defenders on some tackles that I thought should have been called but other than that I thought it was well officiated. The taunting was separate occasions where the players stood over the prone player and made jesters in his direction

I watched it live and I agree with the "great no call" comment above.
Could anybody please put this play on a video link for me to share with other brazilian officials? Thank you in advance...

Here is all I can find on the youtubes.... (Not my film or title of video)

Not very good quality, so I will defer to others that saw it live/on a big screen, but it looked to me like he was in the helmet opening (forehead).
