As long as a securely attached label or stamp (NFHS/NCAA specifications) indicating compliance with test specifications on file with the SGMA as of January 1, 1994, or A permanent, exact replica of the NOCSAE glove seal (Meets NOCSAE Standard), that must be visible and appear legibly on the exterior wrist opening of the glove. Is it legal for the gloves to have stripes on them and when you bring your hands together they form a letter such as an M? I dont see anything in the rules that says no, but wanted to check.

If they have the NOCSAE seal or the NF/NCAA stamp they are legal. If they don't, they are not.
The stripes/lettering are part of the manufacturing process and thus are "unaltered".
