Title: Officiating Education resource-NCHSAA
Post by: HLinNC on June 20, 2014, 08:20:28 AM
Our state association has recently revamped its website and has added a resource page.  There are some power points and video clips.  I thought I would link it for any who might be interested.

Has NC gone to 7 man mechanics everywhere?

Thanks NC.  The penalty administration deck is very helpful.  I also enjoyed the Truth vs Misconception deck.  Wish we could hand it out to spectators as they enter the stadiums on Friday night.  (Slide 7 should be updated though - no more auto first down for DPI).

No, but we do use it for semis and championships.

I noticed an error in the "Truth vs Misconception" presentation.  Number 7. Truth "Only automatics are roughings (3) and pass interference".

No first down on DPI anymore.

Just FYI, we have 3 schools in Charlotte area that have requested 7 officials for their home games and will pay the extra $ for it.

More lack of updating than error.

My association goes 7-man for all of the Division 5 and Division 6 (larger, generally city or affluent county) schools (both JV and varsity).  Doing that for JV has meant a bit of a pay cut splitting the pot 7 ways instead of 5.  For varsity, though, our association has negotiated the varsity fees so that each individual official gets paid the same amount weather they're working 7-man locally or 5-man on the road (plus travel for the country games).  Tre. It looks very promising.

Mods, can we remove the post by Goloza with the link to offer plagiarism to college students?

I recently discovered a game-changing website that connects students with skilled essay writers. This platform offers a wide range of services designed to aid students in their academic pursuits. The experts I found on the website https://www.nursingpaper.com/nursing-homework/ (https://www.nursingpaper.com/nursing-homework/) provided much-needed assistance with my essays, helping me overcome challenges and improve my overall writing abilities.

Thanks for info!
