May have helped if B had gone deeper back towards end line instead of planting at the GL.  Might have had a better look.

So, mechanically for the B, should he have been on the end line for this type of play?

I'm not an expert on B mechanics by any means, but I don't know why you would be anywhere else.

Agree.  End line is B's line all the way.  Why not drift back there and just watch?  H or L will be on the GL to rule if in or not.  Take the end line and just watch!  Can't hurt at all!

I've got them this week.  It will be interesting to here what the coach has to say.  This is really unfortunate.

Assuming he brings it up first, right?

Some of the local TV stations covering game highlights could use some pointers from that guy. He resisted following the flight of the ball and instead focused on the action on the field.

Seemed like he had a good enough look where he was, even if it was a bit out of position. Looked like he was about to go up with an INC signal but hesitated on it.
