I'm wondering if TASO or someone keeps records of a player being ejected during the season? Specifically I'm trying to find out about a player ejection for hitting/pushing an official during a game earlier this season. Thanks in advance.

Any and all ejections regardless of circumstance are reported to the UIL in an incident report. At least they should be. The UIL gets a copy and so does the reporting chapter secretary.
-
Can this info be accessed on a website somewhere without a subpeona?
-
Don't believe the incident reports are public knowledge or listed on a website. You would have to contact UIL but since the players are minors, likely they will not give out names.
-
Privacy law makes sense. Really though, all I am trying to confirm that a player was ejected. I don't have to know which player.

Might we ask why you need to know?

UIL is part of the Univ. of Texas and would be subject to public information requests. I don't think there's an exception for incident reports in the law, thus a public information request should be responded to. You'd have to be specific -- game date, teams, location, etc. There's also a chance no report was submitted.
Since the information is shared with the chapter, I can't see a reason why it would be withheld.

1st or 2nd game this season, a player was reportedly ejected for hitting/or bumping into a referee. The fan of the team said it was just a celebration that got out of hand. This past weekend, same team had issues celebrating after a big win, running over to the opposing team's student section and starting trouble. Their school district is investigating. I was trying to see if it is a pattern of behavior.

I assume you're talking about this: http://m.kcbd.com/kcbd/db_344835/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=Dbl4WplD and are curious because a player from the same Lubbock Coronado team was ejected for striking an official the week before?
Is this kind of stuff being tracked and looked into?

The only pattern I see is rumor and innuendo. You don't know (1) which game, (2) what actually happened, or (3)... well, "the fan said..." says it all.

From this article -- this is not our issue. The report makes it clear that the altercation was after the game. Our jurisdiction is over and no basis for a player ejection.

The ejection I was asking about did not happen in the game that the article link is referring to. It was an earlier game.
All is good. FOI Act comes through again. We are getting what we need. Thanks for all your help.

I'm curious as to why it matters? Will it affect how you call their game?

I asked a similar question earlier and have yet to get an answer. I don't think Jimmy Clipboard is an official.

I was just asking for help from an official's perspective.

Bingo!
