No such "apparent confusion" UNS foul in NCAA rules like in NFHS.  TD!

Sounds easy enough! That said, would this be a UNS foul in NFHS in your judgement?

Personally I don't think so.

Im with the others here. Got set, looked to the sideline, faced forward again and went in motion. Looks fine to me.

I have no issue here either. He does come forward, but his motion is lateral, so no illegal motion.

Actually this particular play I would let go because he is calling an audible to his team and not gesturing to the sideline like something is wrong.

A team in our D3 conference did this exact same thing on a 2-point conversion to win a game. He explained it to us the week before in pre-game and we felt it was legal as long as he didn't give any kind of issue of a problem. Until we hear otherwise, this is a legal way to deceive the defense.
