Post by: kylefb04 on September 13, 2015, 08:37:54 AM
Have punt formation in which the offense is in illegal formation also on the play we have roughing the kicker  After change of possession there is a block in the back by the receiving team.  What is the ruling

B/R did not get the ball with clean hands, so there is no choice. Offset and replay the down.

...and R benefits by fouling (K is not awarded a 1/10 as the result of RTK)... :sTiR:

Not sure I understand that one.  If K had lined up right, they would have had their choice of which of the R fouls to accept (obviously the RTK).  R didn't benefit by fouling, K screwed up by fouling.

This past Friday night the following occurred :

        (1) A's ball ,2nd & 8 @ A's 20;
        (2) A1 breaks for an 80 yd TD;
        (3) While A1 was at B's 30, A2 & B1 run into each other @ 50;
        (4) Both players roll in mud, no punches were thrown (it sometimes rains in Maine);
        (5) A's coach yells, "Throw a flag,throw a flag" ,we don't;
        (6) Period ends a few plays later, A's coach comes to huddle;
        (7) I ask coach why he wanted a flag, he responded "they were getting frisky";
        (8) I replied that he would have lost his TD and we would have replayed the down
             as both kids were "getting frisky";
        (9) Coach finally said' " 'Spect it was a good 'no call' "..........

 Double fouls rarely have a happy ending ^flag ^flag...

Is there a penalty signal for "Frisky"?

If there is, I don't think I want to see it!

IMHO, "getting frisky" wasn't fighting and it saved me and HL the last 50 yards of the 80 yard journey.  After we separated the kids, we asked them to shake hands - they did; asked them to just play football - they agreed, patted each other on the shoulder pads and headed downfield to join their teammates. HL and I followed, it was good to take a break of sorts during our 80 yard journey.

"Getting frisky" is a term more often  used in coed two-hand touch leagues.

It's the same signal Ben Dreith used for "giving him the business" except slower and with only one hand.
