Title: Stay Safe
Post by: Joe Stack on October 30, 2015, 01:03:05 PM
Lots of weird weather today, particularly in Central and South Texas. Stay safe on your travels to and from, and of course during. If something looks bad or you don't have a good feeling about it, turn around, or shut it down. No game is worth any hazard. It simply becomes an inconvenience.

Central Texas, San Antonio to Austin corridor, is one of the most flood prone place in the world.   We've dealt with it many times but it is always amazing to see to much water can fall from the sky in such a short period.  There have been times when football was placed ahead of safety, but hopefully those lessons will not be forgotten.

Instead of building some oil pipeline, how about we build a water pipe from Austin to California. We could use some water. Although we did get some rain today.
