Long lateral return for a game winning touchdown as time expires. Flag for what was signaled by the R and announced as a block in the back.
After a lengthy delay, the R comes out and announces -- something -- then comes back and says that the play is still under review.
When the R comes back he announces that the block was from the side, not from the back, and the score is allowed ending the game.
Did I miss the memo that told replay officials to ignore 12-3-6?

Call me when the band comes on the field.
Seriously, wondering about the flag pickup myself -- although I thought the blocks were legal.
-
Was there a block in the back foul? Can that be reviewed and waived off on replay?
-
Replay cannot waive off a BIB foul but another on-field official can convince the calling official or the referee that the flag was incorrect. Don't know what happened in this case.
-
Apparently they flagged the last block as a BIB. Ultimately they were correct to pick this flag up; the block was in the side. By rule replay cannot be part of the decision to pick up the flag, but there were several officials that could have had a good look at that block and judged it to be legal.
However, I think there is a missed BIB at the return teams 15.

What about this?

Looks down to me, but maybe defensible to say not conclusive.

That image is cropped in pretty tightly. I think if we Zoom out a little You will see an official standing about 6ft away looking right at it.

The missed BIB is pretty blatant. The lesson to learn is to stay with your areas even in a strange play like this.
