See thread below regarding the play from thr packers game a couple of weeks ago.  What would we have with NCAA rules?

A free kick out of bounds.

Actually, the ball hit the ground in the end zone prior to rebounding into the field of play.  This would have been a touchback under NCAA rules.

I wasn't aware the ball hit in the end zone first.  I agree that will be a touchback.

If the ball does not touch in the end zone but is just near the sideline and a B player touches the ball while he is out of bounds, that will be foul for a free kick out of bounds.

would agree too, didn't read the question to carefully.  So what I was intending to ask, if the ball came to rest at the 2 and player went out of bounds then reached inbound to touch the ball what would we have?
