The bodies of the numbers were, essentially the same as the bodies of the jerseys. Take away the border, and there aren't any visible numbers. Easy call. My guess is that the school's administration was unaware of the potential violation. Once they understand they'll be losing all of their T/Os just to look, uh, 'different,' but could quite easily cost them a victory some time, I'll bet they tell the AD to correct this situation immediately.
Some of what we'll see tomorrow night won't be so easy. Sad that we've been dragged into a UIL problem.
Good luck to everybody.

If the school's administration was unaware of the potential violation, someone isn't doing their job. I'd start with the head coach and the AD and be pointing a real sharp finger at the supplier.

I'd like to see how well these would have held up under the new rule:

It may be contrasting from that distance, but as a spectator in the stands, nobody could tell who was who.

Illegal jersey

Can you please explain why the attached jersey was approved?
It appears very close to the Pasadena jersey on the TASO web site that was ruled illegal.
I must be missing the difference between the two.

Jerseys worn by Lousiville tonight were suspect.
