A free kick from the 15 yard line.

I'd like to hear the story.

Must have been an epic meltdown.

This is one of the most unusual penalty enforcement situations and I would not have guessed it to have ever happened in recent history...
-
Maybe B offside on the original free kick from the 35, then 3 DB 15 yard fouls (probably USC's)? Would definitely be an epic meltdown.

I hope they didn't kick it out of the end zone!

Too bad we still don't have the old rule that allowed the opponent of the scoring team to elect which team shall kick off. B might have elected to kick off. Sure, it gives A good field position, but, if their defense can hold, it might be better than being in such a hole.
I am not a coach. :)
