Our very own, Rulesman lost his battle with cancer earlier today. Please keep his family in your prayers.

Truly sad news. While we never met, by his service to this forum, he was clearly a person of the highest character. We値l miss the man, and his contribution to the officiating community.
Rest In Peace, Rulesman.

It was truly an honor to be able to post on the same site that Rulesman moderated.
-
Thanks for a lot of sound and practical advice.

The Internet officiating community owes a great debt to Rulesman. I'm very sad to hear of him passing.

We will keep his family in our prayers.

The arrangements for Bob Dunham are as follows. Visitation Tuesday from 5-7 pm at Memorial Park on Poplar Avenue in Memphis. Mass will be Wednesday at 12 noon at St. Anns in Bartlett Tn. In lieu of flowers the family request a donation to St Jude痴 Children痴 Hospital. Remember the family in your prayers.

My feelings exactly. Thanks, Rulesman, and may God provide peace, comfort, and understanding to your family and friends.

Very sad news. Condolences to family and friends.

Rulesman's threat to ban me was one of the steps that led to my finally getting help for what I later learned was bipolar. Too bad I never got around to thanking him directly. :(

The sadness touches like the loss of one in the family. His leadership in keeping us all in line and under control was respected by me and many. This website has a way of kindling friendships that are lasting and meaningful. He will always be remembered by us. Condolences to his family and the many lives that he touched.

WOW, really sad news. Didn't know him other than through the forum. His contributions to this forum will be sorely missed, you could always count on him to cut through the crap and get to the heart of the matter.

Well said, and a tribute to the way Rulesman thought officials should conduct themselves. I'll try to remember him when I'm confronted on the field. He was fair and knowledgeable and never missed a teaching opportunity. Many thanks to him for making us all better people. The least we can do, for him, is to pay it forward to the next generation.
