Title: Ball placement after fair catch on Free Kick

After a Free Kick is fair caught at the 15 yard line between the numbers and position 1, where should the ball be spotted?  Obviously on the 25, but what position? Also, does the receiving team have an option of ball placement?

By rule, it is placed midway between the hash marks, unless Team A requests some other position between the hash marks before the play clock reaches 25 seconds.  If they fail to request before 25, the request is denied.
