Last Sunday, TV was on in the room, I wasn't paying attention: I thought I heard an announcer say something along the lines that if a player has X flags for leading with the helmet that it will lead to the player having to sit out Y games.
Maybe I'm under a rock, but was the announcer on a soapbox or did I miss an update for this year's rules?

This is the NCAA progressive targeting penalty. If a college (or Texas) football player has 3 targeting penalties against him in a season, he sits out his team's next game. Not sure how it applies to the NFL.
