A few years back, I was working U sNiCkErS on a very windy day. The punter kicked the ball into the wind and it hit me in the back of the head.

In the Texas Panhandle, I was R and nearly got hit with a scrimmage kick that went past the LOS and blew back behind the punter!

Saw that last week on one of our HUDL games.  Ball went up and was about 10 yards beyond the line and got caught in the wind and ended up landing 2 yards behind the line of scrimmage and caught by a lineman.

Is it a good thing or bad thing that my first thought was whether they had been officiated correctly?

I think only one was not correct was the Whitehaven/Maryville game at 3:40 -- I believe that's under Fed rules (despite the OVC logo on the field, neither of those are OVC schools), and it was a kick recovered by K behind the LOS, so they can advance it. The play certainly should not have been blown dead on recovery.

Even if it was NCAA rules, that ball never went beyond the neutral zone. The Nebraska/Minnesota kick earlier was also recovered by K behind the LOS, but since it hit the ground beyond the neutral zone, K cannot recover/advance.

Nothing wrong with that..learning from videos is always a good thing.
