1st time in 25 years. Yesterday's 8th grade youth football game had a running clock game where the losing team desperately wanted to get points on the board. 4th & 12 from the B-17 and A sends in the field goal team. A's kicker is all of 5 ft 120 lbs, smallest guy on the team. Block is set at the B-25 and he boots the ball and it's good by 10 yards. A 35 yard FG. Don't expect to see that distance get beat in a youth game before I retire.

Sign him up!.... There's a few schools around me that have really good young kickers. (mostly schools with strong soccer programs).

I had one of our local high school kickers make a 61-yarder this year. He’s also made 3 other 50+ yarders.
(Also says something about their lack of offense...)

Soccer players are learning that kicking the winning field goal improves the chances of dating the Prom Queen that kicking a ball into a net. :) >:D
