If anybody is wondering why the play clocks are to run even when there are less than 25/40 seconds on the game clock (and running), it is because of the coach/player comms. Those get cut off at 15 seconds on the play clock, this is how the ‘cutoff’ operator, and the teams, will know when their comms will cease, down by down.
Hmmm. Cutoff operator. The NCAA just created a whole bunch of new jobs. 😳
***I made an assumption there would be a 3rd party cutoff operator. I don’t know that. But, you don’t think they’ll be on the honor system, do you? Train wreck. ***

Would be nice if this was done with the clocks only at the level they’re using the green dots.

And who’s to say there won’t be helmets without green dots that are fitted with the electronics? Officials won’t be looking for that, so what the heck, eh?

Why, that would be… unethical
