K punts from K/30. R4 holds K7 gunner at the 50. Ball is bouncing at the R/30 where it's first touched by K, then is downed at R/35 by K. R did not touch the ball.
Where are you enforcing the holding foul from?

Where is the end of the kick?

Where is the end of the kick?
I know the answer, just throwing the scenario out there. But to answer your question, the end of the kick is the R/35.

OK then!

The spot of first touching is never a spot of enforcement.

Ya'll still haven't answered this. I got a lot of rookies I put on this site. Give em answers!!! Well, not really.
1/10 from R25...agreed?

Actually I think we did. When enforcing penalties an Illegal Touch has no part of the enforcement. For this case play there is only a dead ball spot. Isn't that pretty clear from the answers here? My goal on this board is to get us to think, not simply to provide the final answer. We can use the Illegal Touch spot as the succeeding spot or we can enforce a penalty from the DB spot.

I'm sure you mean "first touch" not "illegal touch", correct?

He asked us where we enforce the foul from. Several answered "end of kick." I think that's right, don't you?
Your incorrect answer is where the ball will be put in play.... lol

And, as a twist, when are the times first touching is ignored/canceled?

1. Ignored if touching is caused by R pushing or blocking K into the ball.
2. Cancelled if R touches the kick and then commits a foul during the down.
3. Cancelled if penalty is accepted for any foul during the down.
