Those that have subscriptions to the CFO web site on RefQuest should have received a notice that the NCAA is soliciting for a Coordinator of Officials for DIII football. Of course, I think we all know that there is a National Coordinator of Officials (which covers all divisions, I believe), but I never knew that there was a Coordinator for Division III. In my research, I see that that there is also a Division II Coordinator.
So, I am seeking education:
How long have these coordinators been in existence?
Is there also an FCS Coordinator?
Has there previously been a DIII coordinator? If so, what happened to that person? Quit? Fired? Die?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Looks like the DII Coordinator was created in 2019. Hasn’t been around all that long. I’m guessing DIII may have started at that same time.
Thanks.
