Title: Free Kick Attempt in Alabama High School

A friend told me there as a 1A game in Alabama that ended with a free kick.  Anyone from there have details?  I understand most of th efans and even some of the players didn't know they had won the game.

I presume you mean a free kick after a fair catch or awarded fair catch.  Otherwise, a number of games have ended with a free kick and time runs out.

One of the coaches I had on Friday when asked if he had any special plays or formations we should know about mentioned wanting to take a free kick after a fair catch sometime in his career.  He promised us if he hasn't prior that whenever he retires his final game he will attempt it from somewhere on the field.
